LECC Junior 'Kangas'

Lower Eltham Cricket Club is a family oriented club with fantastic facilities for junior cricket located in picturesque Eltham Lower Park, 570 Main Road, Eltham. Come and play junior cricket for the 'Kangas'. See our programs below. New players welcome.

Registrations for Cricket Blast and for the juniors competition are open on PlayHQ.
 

Junior season key dates:  

  • Girls season training - Monday nights 4.30 - 5.30pm, LECC nets 

  • Boys/mixed season training - Tuesday nights 4.30-5.30pm, LECC nets

  • Girls and U10 matches - Wednesday nights, 5pm

  • Cricket Blast - Sundays 9.30-10.30am, 13 October to 8 December

Cricket Blast program - starts 13 October 2024!

Learn the skills to play cricket through fun game-based activities:

  • Recommended for boys and girls aged 4+ of all skills and abilities  

  • 60 minutes of fun each session

  • Participate in skill development activities and modified games

  • Make new friends and learn new skills including batting, bowling, catching, throwing and teamwork

  • All kids receive a Cricket Blast Pack and a Blast Pass for Stars or Renegades matches

  • $99 for 8 weekly sessions 

  • Parents join in the fun!

  • All equipment supplied. 

  • Lower Eltham's Blast program in 2024 will run from 9.30am to 10.30am on the main cricket oval on Sundays. Season runs from 13 October to 8 December. Contact Nick Frayne 0407398081 for more information. Registrations open now on PlayHQ.

LECC Junior Cricket Program 2024/25

We field junior boys and girls sides in the local DVCA competition

  • 2024/25 season fees all ages only $120. Reduced fees available for part-season players.

  • Our Girls Level 1 (U13), Girls Level 2 (U15) and boys/mixed U10 teams play matches on a Wednesday night (game start time 5pm). 

  • Matches are played from October to March - see PlayHQ or PlayCricket app for match schedule or DVCA Junior Playing dates (click on junior playing dates under the juniors tab to receive download). 

  • Junior girls train Monday nights and Junior Boys on Tuesday nights at Lower Eltham CC's nets.
